There is crocheted lace along the rooftops and buttons for doorknobs (from that jar that I got at Apple & Pork!)... These are really fun to make! And here is Jimmy at lunch time, having spaghetti... How did he get it THERE?!?! :o)

This weekend was the 42nd Annual "Apple and Pork Festival" here in our town... :o) We only live down the street from the main attraction, "The Homestead", an 1860's mansion that is now a historical landmark. Here is Jimmy showing you a few of the goodies I had to get - a *Ball jar* of old shell buttons and a lovely crocheted doily.
Here is the same doily, along with another one that I got. Can you believe I only paid $3.25 total for BOTH doilies! It was my lucky day!
I love, love, love the cardinals fabric and the rose fabric in the border! This quilt is about 62" square. Now to see if Carol would *possibly* have time to quilt this before Christmas... Or maybe for next Christmas... :o)))
P.S. Ignore David with his yo-yo on the side there... It took me about 5 times to get a pic that wasn't blurry (because the window fan is blowing in) and decided who cared if David's yo-yo was in the pic... :o)

A friend found out her cousin has inoperable cancer, so this quilt will be going to her... I hope she knows it was "Sent With Love"... :o)
David stayed home today from school, with a headache, so here are the boys napping on the couch this afternoon... I couldn't resist snapping a picture... :o) (See the Happy Houses quilt, Pat?)
And last but not least, Carol quilted my "Emma's Legacy" quilt and I got it back this week and got the binding put on it. I *LOVE* this quilt!
Hope you all are having a good week! I hope to be back soon with some finishes! :o)
