Sewing Room Makeover: Part II
I love, love, love the cardinals fabric and the rose fabric in the border! This quilt is about 62" square. Now to see if Carol would *possibly* have time to quilt this before Christmas... Or maybe for next Christmas... :o)))
P.S. Ignore David with his yo-yo on the side there... It took me about 5 times to get a pic that wasn't blurry (because the window fan is blowing in) and decided who cared if David's yo-yo was in the pic... :o)
David stayed home today from school, with a headache, so here are the boys napping on the couch this afternoon... I couldn't resist snapping a picture... :o) (See the Happy Houses quilt, Pat?)
Thanks so much for stopping by! I am off to work on another purse - my mom's birthday is in October, and I think a new purse would be the perfect gift... :o)

Next was Block 4 of the "Holidays At Home" BOM. The center block was already done (month 2) but this month we added everything from those 9-patch blocks out, to frame the center block. This now measures 22-1/2" square. Only two more months to go on this one! :o)
And last but not least, I had been meaning to post this pic the kids took last month when they went to the park down the block - they took it with their cell phone... (Yes, I'm a meanie, they share a cell phone! They are only 12!)
It is Elizabeth in blue, David, then Anna in the red shirt. And of course, Jimmy in the front... :o)
And this is July's block:
Update on the pouches -- I have 105 pouches done! Still have to do the mirrors too, my sister had ordered them and brought them over the other day... :o) The mirrors will go alot faster. I set a goal of 10 pouches a day, which I have done pretty good at. But that means not much else gets done... Oh well! :o)
And now to cardinals on fabric... :o) This is the *Holidays At Home* BOM, block 2. The backing came this month too, and it is the same cardinal fabric as the center of these blocks! :o)
Have a great Friday! It is raining here this morning, great sewing weather! :o)

And here is the label I made, using one of the embroidered frames, and then just hand-signed:
This is block 8: Smile
This is block 9: Trust
And here is block 9 of *A Christmas Wish* from Gail Pan:
Part of the reason I got so many of these done is that Jim finally got me a light box made... It is so much easier to trace the patterns with a light box, rather than the front door window, or sometimes I would even use the TV screen, which would drive the kids nuts! HA!
And our pool... :o) Or as dear hubby says, our redneck pool... Jimmy is in the pool, and that is David and Lizzie, 2 of the trio. (Anna was at her friends house overnight.)Thanks so much for visiting!
