Earlier this year, I participated in the *Happy Houses* block swap. I finally found the perfect fabric to use for sashing for the blocks! Yeah! For quite awhile, I didn't know what to use, because the blocks are all do different. The fabric I found looks like grass! :o) And then I went thru my stash and chose 20 different prints to use as sashing corners. To me, it looks like little spots of flowers between the houses. :o) I love these Happy Houses - they really do make me happy! :o) Now the quilt top is in my hand-quilting stack. Then it will go on the back of the short sofa... :o)
It looks absolutely perfect! The border does look like grass. I found my blocks the other day but put them back in my to do stack. I guess I should get busy. :D Have a great week ahead.
I remember those blocks you made! Your quilt really does look happy. It's like it's throwing itself a little party, complete with confetti in the sashing squares.

The green grass fabric really pulled it all together. The houses are too cute and your scraps in the sashing are terrific.

It looks great Angela. Great choice for sashing. It makes me smile looking at it too.
I love how you've put the Happy Houses together. They look great!
Angela, I love your top. Now to get it quilted.
That quilt makes me happy just looking at it. I agree - the cornerstones look like bright flowers between the houses. Great job!
