more this and that... :o)

I made this Cross pillow today, it will go to our church for their auction to raise money for the kids mission trip this summer. It's a 16" pillow, so 156 1" (finished) squares in this pillow... :o) I based it off my Cross for Hope quilt that I made last month... :o)

I made this little wool/felt notebook holder too. I may make them to sell, but I wanted to work out my pattern first... :o) I think it turned out pretty cute.

The girls helped me choose some scrapbook paper to put on the front of the 33-cent notebook from Dollar General, to fancy it up... :o)
Thanks for visiting! I appreciate everyone's kind comments! :o)

I hope your pretty pillow raises a lot of money for a good cause.
It certainly looks to me like you worked out the notebook holder just fine. Cute!

The fabric you used for your pillow is pretty and should go well for the church. Your felt notebook holder is cute you could also use that for a checkbook cover.

Pretty pillow--hope it makes a nice sum for the good cause. The notebook cover idea would be nice for needlecases too!

Gosh 156 x 1 inch squares sounds like a lot of piecing in your pillow!! I like the way you have put a pen loop in your notebook cover - handy idea!!

I finally am taking the time to look at the blogs I like to catch up on and it looks like you have been really busy! Everything you make is so cute!! I definately admire your patience. :D
I am almost done with your Christmas quilt and then I will get started on your Snowman quilt. Trying to some stuff in the studio so have been a little behind on quilting but I am on a roll now. LOL Have a great day!

Haven't been around lately, as you know. Love all the things you have been making. The iPad cover is a great idea! Love the doorknob sachets too.

The notebook cover is very cool! As is the pillow. I love how you do so many small projects and get stuff DONE instead of just started (like me).
