Feathered Star -- Done!

I finished my test Feathered Star block! Yeah! I really like it, although I'm really glad I did a test block first! Do you see my number one problem in my finished block? Yep, the tip of every single diamond is going to be cut off, once I add borders or binding. I think if I made those corner squares, and setting triangles, just 1/4" bigger, I'll not lose those tips when adding onto the block.
Other than that, I'd call this block a success! This one I will probably make into a wallhanging, for myself... :o) Or maybe a pillow, although it's really big...
I got the fabric from my customer today, but am still waiting for her to decide how she wants the quilt laid out. 6 (2x3) blocks, with big borders, or 12 (3x4) blocks with tiny borders.... :o)
Thanks for visiting!

Great job! I am so proud of you, I am a chicken to try! Maybe someday. FYI, I finished your one Christmas quilt but won't put the white one in until we get the painting done here in the studio. Nope, it is still not done. :(
I will get the one done in the mail to you though. :D Have a great day!!

It looks like larger corner squares will be an easy solution. Your block looks great! I haven't tried one yet. Maybe some day.

Wow, way to go Angela. It turned out great. Can you take those corner squares off and try it with the bigger ones?

Looks wonderful! Great job! And if you didn't point it out, 99% of people looking at it would never know about those points.

It's gorgeous! Can you just add 1/4" fabric all around?
