Jr High ?!?!?!

How did my babies turn into Jr High-ers?!? :o) Friday was the first day of school! The trio started 6th grade at the Jr High. They are really excited! Jimmy wanted to go to school too, especially since this is the first year that the kids are riding the bus... He will be able to start Pre-K next fall. (Already?!?!?)

I told Shirley that I would post the last couple years of *first day of school* pics, so here is 5th grade (2008):

And 4th grade (2007):
My babies are growing up way too fast, but I suppose all Moms think that...
And here is the quilt I finished up this week for my Mom - hand quilted. :o)

Thanks for visiting!

Enjoy the kids while they are young. It seems like a long time to get them out of high school but the time flies.
And bravo for hand quilting!

Yes, the kids are growing up fast, they all grow up fast, why? Don't you wish that sometimes you could slow them down?LOL I like the quilt.

Boy, they are growing fast. I always told myself (and still do) that it is the natural progression of life....but sometimes it's not that reassuring!
Love the quilt for your mom.

What a great picture! Thanks for sharing it. Jimmy is such a doll fitting right in there with the other kids. It's fun to see photos from past years too. Tell Lizzie I just love her new hair cut it looks awesome on her. Wish all 3 of them good luck in grade 6.

Yea, I know -- I'm still in shock about the jr. high thing with my little guy in 7th grade this year. I love your new blog layout, by the way!
