Sales and customer orders have been down, down, down. Which is really depressing, with Dear Hubby just starting a 5-week layoff from work. But at least we know he has a return to work date and we will make it thru, one way or another...
Anyways, I did have an order from a long-term customer.... Her daughter had a couple of these quilted angels and Sharon sent me a photo and asked if I could make more of them. I enlarged the photo to the size she wanted and made a pattern. I made little patchworks that were 3 blocks by 6 blocks. Hand quilted that. Then traced the pattern on and hand-stitched around the shapes. Then assembled. They have little metal *rings* for halos, which is also how it would be hung by. I made an extra one for Sharon, as she had hip-replacement surgery on July 2nd... (The second replacement of the same hip.) They are a bit labor-intensive, but I LOVE how they turned out! :o)
Here is a close up of my favorite one... :o)

Angela how very smart of you. The angels are darling and of course so is the little quilt. I am so glad your hubby has a date to return to work. Hopefully the bad times will soon be gone. Good luck to you my friend.
The angel is adorable! You are so clever and the little quilt you made is very nice and I am sure it will be loved.
So sorry about your husband but just look at it as a nice long vacation.
I hope to finish my quilt up early in the week and then yours will go on the machine. I thought I would pop mine in and finish it this weekend but it is alot more time consuming than I thought. :(
Hope your day was drier where you live. It has been raining all afternoon and evening. No fireworks for us!
Those are ADORABLE!!!! You did a great job!! I love them!!
