cardinals

David took this picture of a cardinal on our fence post earlier this week. Cardinals are the State Bird of Illinois. I absolutely love cardinals... To me, they are majestic...
And now to cardinals on fabric... :o) This is the *Holidays At Home* BOM, block 2. The backing came this month too, and it is the same cardinal fabric as the center of these blocks! :o)

Thanks for looking! Hope everyone is having a good week! :o)

Those blocks are just too cute! They look like packages with a bow in the top! Love it!

Great fabric. Your blocks look so nice. I like Cardinals too, we have a pair around here and a pair of Bluebirds too, they are such a pretty little bird.

Hi Angela, We do not have cardinals in Australia, and to be honest, I have never even heard of them - oh but they are so cute! Thanks for sharing such a cute pic and giving us Down Under and insight to what birds fly around up there in the NH. Sam xox P.S Nice blocks!

We love cardinals, too - especially Ben, who identifies them with his Dad's home state (and the baseball team!) Lovely, lovely quilt squares!
