March Schnibble

I did not get to work on Elizabeth's orange quilt yesterday. David was home from school sick, with spring allergies, so I couldn't work on it! UGH! I did get the blocks done today, and hope to start putting them together tomorrow...

Sinta over at Pink Pincushion hosts "A Year of Schnibbles" each month. This is the first month that I have made the right Schnibble during the right month! This month was the Roundabout pattern. I used Bar Harbor fabrics from Moda. I love the summery, patriotic look of these fabrics. I have not decided if I will hand-quilt it or not... My hand-quilting pile is getting pretty large!

And I thought I would show a picture of one of our cats -- this is Lefty. His official name is *Sir Limps-a-Lot* :o) He was born with a bad right back leg, it is twisted and not formed right. But it sure does not slow him down! :o) He is about 4 years old. His daddy is our other cat, JJ, a pure black cat! HA!

Thanks for visiting! Hope you are having a good week!

Oh - I just saw those fabrics the other day at the store! I noticed them because I'd vacationed once in Bar Harbor -- so lovely and patriotic! Your cat looks...comfortable!

I love your Scnibbles quilt, it is adorable. I love the RWB colors also, though I don't have but one or two quilts with that combo. I love cats and yours is so cute. They all have such cool personalities!

Love the red/white/blue Roundabout! It seems to be a popular color theme this month.

Lefty is adorable! Makes you want to reach out and scratch his tummy :)
