I started knitting on this shawl this afternoon. It's "reclaimed" sweater yarn that I found on Etsy. LOVE it! I think it will be for my mom. She broke her shoulder last fall and I was thinking this would be nice to "throw over her shoulders" rather than trying to put on a jacket... While I'm knitting, I'm trying to decide whether she would want fringe on it or not... :o)

My kids will be on spring break this week, and I'll be home with them for 3 days. I tell myself that I'm going to get lots done, but who am I kidding?
Love the shawl start. Looks like it will be very pretty. I have been on spring break all week and loving it! Will hate to go back on Tuesday.
I like fringe myself. But, if she'll be washing it a lot, fringe might not be the best plan because it tends to tangle. You're such a thoughtful daughter!
