PIF and pillow...

I didn't get too much done over this weekend, but I did make this little pillow! It is made using a mini Honey Bun that Carol at Cornfield Quilter gave me! (Thanks Carol!) This is a 15" pillow, so I just about used the whole honey bun! :o) And then when I got the top made, I dug thru my ribbon/laces and found some that coordinated, and hand-stitched them down along some of the seams. (There are 5 rows of ribbon/laces - you might have to enlarge the pic.) It was a fun, quick project, and something different than I usually make... I *LOVE* it!

Also, thanks to the gals that have signed up for my Pay It Forward! I have two gals so far! Speaking of that, Shirley of Grammy and Papi's Attic, can you email me (janda082803 *at* yahoo.com), your comments are set for *no reply*, so I couldn't get back to you on the details of the PIF! So, I still need one more taker! If you are curious about what Pay It Forward is all about, check out my blog post HERE. It is really is fun and easy!

Such a lovely pillow. It's a great feeling to pull laces or trims or rickrack or any sort of tucked-away goodie and use it, rather than storing and forgetting it.
