first border!

I finished the first border for the Granny's Stars quilt! Those are yo-yo flowers along the vine, and a yellow yo-yo flower in the center of the big flower. All hand-stitched. :o) I love yo-yo's! Sorry, I didn't press it before I took the photo! It went together really quickly, so I am hoping to get the other borders done this week. I hand-basted all the leaves and flower pieces and I think that helped it go together quickly, since they were already in the general shape. I have the other borders pinned and ready to go... :o)

Don't forget to sign up for my Schnibbles pattern giveaway! I will draw a winner tomorrow night! Have a great day, and thanks for visiting!

Thats going to look awesome ,I also love using
yo yo's for flowers . I've always put the border on the quilt then appliquéd it ,let me know how your way works out .It would certainly be a lot less bulk in your lap
