This is the best photo I could get of the hand-quilting in the borders, it is a continuous wave design. 
This quilt was a labor of love. I have known Sharon for about 6 years or so, and have made many quilts for her, that she has given to family and friends as gifts. So this is the first quilt of mine that she is keeping for herself! She bought the kit and paid me to put it together, but I told her as my gift to her, I wanted to hand-quilt it, not tie it, as she had requested. She does not know it is completed yet! I am sending it off to her today, so she will be surprised to receive it... :o)Thanks for visiting!
